So North Carolina had a major choke job in the 96-84 OT thriller to Georgetown, and the Hoyas are going to the final four for the 1st time since 1776 1985. I honestly thought Georgetown was done at 7:00 mark of the 2nd half, and was more convinced when Billy Packer said they were still in it. But the magic came when my dad said that Georgetown is going to hit a three when the Hoyas were down 81-78 with 35 seconds to go, and they never looked back. I was basically laughing at the Tar Heels when they missed every open shot when it was inevitable until they finally ended the scoring drought.
I almost forgot, there was another game today involving Florida, who is (unfortunately) going back to the Final 4 after beating Oregon 85-77. Tajuan Porter now has a new nickname, instead of “Mighty Mouse”, it’s now “Brick”, missing every shot until he hit 2 three pointers after the outcome was decided. The gators basically did the same thing that they’ve done throughout the tournament, have a slow start, then pull away in the 2nd half, Oregon had a nice comeback, but Northwest teams never comeback to win in any sport.

And Wow what a choke job it was! The next two games should be pretty entertaining though.
