Enough of Paris Hilton already!

I’m going to stray away from sports for a moment and talk about current events. As you may have heard, Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating probation. Now I’m looking at news this morning to make fun of research for this post, and I see Yahoo.com with this headline saying ”What should Paris Hilton Expect in Jail?”. First of all, it’s 45 days, these people are treating it as if she got life without parole. Second of all, here is what she can expect.

1. She’ll have to actually eat. (Although Nicole Richie is in more need of food than she is.)
2. It’s a prison for women only, so she can’t go fooling around with men and making videos.
3. The jail will allow women to talk on the phone, but never said they couldn’t make dirty calls. (They probably can’t anyway, but if they are allowed, then the prison is just letting them commit a crime while in prison.)
4. This will get her the most attention she’s ever gotten because I can’t go to one website without seeing a Paris Hilton headline.

Just when I thought we had finally gotten rid of stories of blond women like Anna Nicole Smith, CNN will probably have extensive coverage of another one in Paris Hilton going to the clink for all we know. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
