When do these people learn?

Several times a year, we have people in Seattle getting hit by trains near Safeco Field. Typically, they are on their way to see the Mariners lose play against whoever. On Saturday, the same thing happened again, when 2 men grew impatient of the train passing, and one of them tried to cross the tracks in between 2 train cars. His foot got stuck, and he got run over. Currently, the man is seriously injured and may lose his foot. The other man with him was not hit.

Now, why can’t these people just wait for the train to pass? Considering that they only have to wait a couple of minutes is the least they can do. The stupid thing is, the fact that this is consistently happening, and none of the reported incidents were suicide attempts.

Then again, I remembered, this is Seattle, the coffee drinking capital of America.

Brett Favre is Impossible to Please

Brett Favre is not the best quarterback ever, nor is he a great QB. To me, he is a good quarterback, who overcame his difficulties, and succeeded in the NFL. He’s coming back for another year, and wants a new wide receiver. He asks for Randy Moss, the Packers don’t get him, and Moss goes to the New England Patriots. Now Brett is angry that they didn’t get him in time when they needed an experienced WR. He was rumored to have demanded a trade, but coach Mike McCarthy got him to admit that he wants to stay a Packer.

Now Brett, follow this logic with me. Randy Moss was the same guy that has been booed by Packers fans before. As a Minnesota Viking, he pretended to pull down his pants and moon at the crowd in Green Bay, infuriating them, Joe Buck, and the NFL, and you expect the fans to LIKE HIM?! That’s practically dragging controversy to Lambeau Field, why would the Packers sign him? If anything Mr. Favre, you should be helping your inexperienced wide receivers blossom into young stars, not crying because you didn’t get your wish! Especially considering that you’ve got 2 new WR’s to mentor in James Jones and David “Tears of a”Clowney. (My first Bermanism)

I’ve grown tired of Brett, everything is Brett Favre in that organization, he’s all over the news, and the fact that he’s high maintenance is only going to attract more attention. As I finish typing, I must point out that Brett Favre finished the season 8-8, with a crappy running game, and inexperienced WR’s. So imagine what he could do this year with new talent.
