The Madness Has Arrived! Opening Round Open Thread

Upset Alert: Duke 58 Belmont 58 with 9:04 left in the game.

Update: Duke 65 Belmont 64 with 4:48 left.

Final: Duke 71 Belmont 70 – Gerald Henderson’s coast to coast drive combined with stingy defense and a missed shot from 27 feet by Belmont ends what was a classic game to watch. Duke survives in a thriller. 

The greatest time of the year is here. Upsets, sleeper teams, buzzer beaters, the college basketball tournament in March (I can’t say the real term due to a copyright by the NCAA) will tip off in under 2 hours.

I’ll try and update scores and whatnot later in the evening since….I have a life school. I’m picking Texas to win it all, with UConn, Kansas, and Tennessee being the other 3 in the final four.
