I am one to think Landon Donovan is overrated, flops on the international stage, and he flopped in Germany. Luckily, he has the MLS, where he’ll probably destroy most of the league. In a game against Toronto FC, a team that had won a whopping 1 road game in it’s 2 year history prior to this match, Donovan had a tremendous opportunity to put the LA Beckhams 1-0 up on a hot day in Carson, California.

Wow. Not only was that a huge miss, but Toronto FC won 3-2 over the Beckhams. Wait…haven’t we seen this before?

Totally agree, Altidore was phenomenal in the U-20s in Canada.
