Looking at the gameplay videos so far it looks pretty much the same as last year. The graphics are improved and the players are more realistic but that’s about it.
Now about that commentary. Tom Hammond is seriously dull and robotic…..but Cris Collinsworth’s analysis is actually good and quite realistic. EA Sports’ new backtrack feature though has some glitches, which involves Collinsworth pointing out supposedly open receivers who are actually in double coverage.

The early verdict: Hammond needs a tune-up and the backtrack feature is lousy when identifying open receivers.
