TFC Officially Eliminated From the Playoffs

Former TFC defender Julius James scored for DC United against the Kansas City Wizards to give them a 2-1 win, thus officially knocking Toronto FC out of playoff contention.

Sure. One more kick in the balls. Useless for us and now a hero in DC. Sort of like how Jeff Cunningham, once incapable of scoring from 6 inches with TFC, magically became the MLS’ leading goal-scorer.

I’m not as angry as I thought I would be. TFC didn’t deserve to be in the playoffs and DEFINITELY not tonight. They don’t even deserve to be in the MLS.

I feel bad for ya Mookie. We talked earlier this year about Johnston’s poor scouting efforts in Latin America. That combined with three years without making the playoffs should be enough to get him canned. Shame, I was really hoping the Reds would make the playoffs this year. With DC United not making it also, that’s two of the three best supporters’ groups in MLS out. Would have been a great atmosphere at BMO.

Any suggestions for TFC on Cummins and Johnston’s possible successors?
