Ladies and Gentlemen, Your 2009 Washington Redskins!

I can’t even think of anything creative to write for the following play. Down 24-0, the Washington Redskins try a trick play instead of actually kicking a field goal to end the half. This is known as the “Swinging Gate” where the “QB”, in this case Hunter Smith, throws a WR screen pass with 6 offensive linemen blocking downfield.

This is the Redskins though, so they have to take stupidity a step further.

Instead of taking the points they almost gave up a touchdown. That’s just about the worst play run this year.

That entire coaching staff needs to be axed.

I almost feel like this play was a big F.U. from Jim Zorn to Dan Snyder, just like Lane Kiffin did to Al Davis when he had Sebastian Janikowski actually attempt a 76-yard field goal right before Kiffin was fired.

In case you forget or want to see the hilarity again, here’s that 76-yard field goal attempt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXTvv4mjur0
