The image sucks, but it’s Seneca Wallace’s career in a nutshell. When faced with a 4th and 2 and needing a touchdown to win, he threw a 1 yard floater to Julius Jones. The Seahawks lost 25-19 to the Bears and it was a possible season changing moment.
Seneca has now been traded to the Browns for an undisclosed 2011 pick. That’s how little value Wallace had. He regressed horribly from his days as a reliable backup to downright useless and a liability to this team. Thank you Mike Holmgren for doing your old team a favor.
I shall sleep peacefully knowing the “run out of bounds for a big loss” option on 3rd and 2 is gone. But Hasselbeck is still our starter…..scrap the good sleep plan.
