Celtics’ Rasheed Wallace Scores Two Points for the Chicago Bulls

Well I guess it can’t get much worse for the Boston Celtics, can it? Yes it can, because they’ll get swept in the first round by the Miami Heat.

The Chicago Bulls needed a win to stay ahead of the Toronto Raptors for that 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and BOY did the Celtics ever help them.

After Brad Miller missed a wide open jump shot for the Bulls, Rasheed Wallace blew an uncontested rebound and managed to put the ball through his own net.

The Bulls won 101-93 and would need to choke once more to miss a shot at getting eliminated in the first round by the Cavaliers. Otherwise they’re in, and Rasheed Wallace lent them a helping hand.

It’s given to the closest Bulls player at the time the “own basket” was scored. I just checked the play-by-play and it’s Brad Miller.
