This borders on taking a sabbatical, but with nothing of interest occurring in July (baseball is boring and it’s only midseason anyway) I’ve decided to take it light for this month. I don’t really know enough about baseball to comment on George Steinbrenner today other than him building the most-hated franchise in sports today.
Summer is here, the rain in Seattle that was here in June has now turned into bright sunny weather; do not expect much in the way of writing for the next few weeks. August however is when we get rolling again with NFL season right around the corner, and Seattle’s inevitable 6-10 season coming. The Barclays Premier League will also start up a new season, and hopefully it’s the season Manchester United take the title back from Chelsea.
Take care. You’ll see me hanging around SB Nation but laying off the heavy writing for the month.
