Notre Dame was up 24-7. They had the spoiler role in Michigan’s first ever night game. Then it became 24-21. No worries. Three touchdowns in the final 72 seconds, and the Fighting Irish were knocked out. A stunning 35-31 win for the Wolverines capped off with a last-second toss from Denard Robinson to Roy Roundtree for his only catch of the day, the winning score. Video after the jump.
What else can you say? Robinson tossed a TD to Vincent Smith with 1:12 to give the Wolverines a 28-24 lead, their first of the night. Tommy Rees responded with a TD to Troy Riddick with :30 to go, but Robinson drove the team 80 yards in 30 seconds for an incredible win.
I missed you, football.
