Another week, another terrible NFL Network game. How did Jacksonville manage 3 primetime games off an 8-8 season with no playoffs? Tonight’s game is relevant to the Seattle Seahawks in that a loss for Atlanta could increase Seattle’s chances of making the postseason. Alas, the Jaguars are terrible and the Falcons are great at home. I can’t think of any way Jacksonville wins this game, particularly given the fact that they have scored over 20 points a grand total of once this season, and that was last Sunday against the awful Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Chances are this game won’t be competitive and Blaine Gabbert will have another rough day, as he continues to be the worst rookie QB of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Falcons 30 Jaguars 10
Depending on how things go, I want to highlight some of the top storylines in the NFL so far that have nothing to do with Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. Yes, there are other things in the NFL right now other than Tebow.
See you tomorrow!
