VIDEO: Drew Brees Breaks Dan Marino’s Single Season Passing Yards Record

What a special talent. It’s only fitting that Drew Brees breaks the single season passing yards record by throwing a touchdown pass to his former Chargers teammate, Darren Sproles.

New Orleans blew Atlanta up 45-16 but tonight was all about Drew Brees, one of the best QBs in the game, needing only 15 games to break Dan Marino’s passing record. No other QB in 27 years could do it, but now Brees has.

It’s hard not to root for Brees and it’s so fun to watch the New Orleans Saints offense. I would really like to see them rematch the Green Bay Packers in the postseason, as it would be one of the most highly anticipated playoff duels in recent memory.

Congratulations to Drew Brees on an historic achievement.
